Entertainment Application |

If your department is interested in performing
on Picnic Day either through music or dance, please apply using the
Entertainment application! With seven
stages around campus, you can be sure that your department’s performance will
be a surefire way to attract and garner attention from all those in attendance.

To celebrate this landmark, our goal is to have
94 exhibits to celebrate 94 years.
Exhibits are generally informational in nature, allowing each department
to show off current projects, future work, as well as programs offered,
information on how to get involved, and how to apply to become a member of the
department.

The Picnic Day Parade is the official kickoff to a day
recognizing your department’s contributions to our campus community. Interested
parties are encouraged to enter a float, animal entry, motor vehicle, tractor,
carriage, wagon, or bicycle entry. Groups may also dance, skip, walk, or skate
their way through the 1½ mile parade.
Please note also that if a department or campus
organization is interested in building a float, the Cal Aggie Alumni
Association (CAAA) is offering seven $200 float grants. All entries are also
eligible to compete for awards and cash prizes.

Special Events Application |
|
Special events are generally larger and more
elaborate than exhibits and are a great opportunity for your department to
stand out among the myriad of others offered at UC Davis. Examples of Special Events include (but are
not limited to): competitions, shows, demonstrations, workshops, lectures,
tours, or discussions.

Student Organization Faire (SOF) Application |
|
Only the following groups are eligible to participate in this event: UCD Registered Student
Organizations, Sport Clubs, and ASUCD units, in good standing with the
University. A lively, colorful and
large Picnic Day event held on the east quad with exhibits, food, and
carnival-style games.
