Cloned cow and sheep, transgenic goats, and educational exhibits on animal biotechnology.

 

ANIMAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT DISPLAY

9:30am-3pm

Cole A

Research and Animal Science-related displays showcasing a variety of livestock species and interactive educational displays.

 

STUDENTS VS. ALUMNI POLO MATCH

3pm-4pm

Cole A Arena

Student versus alumni polo match.  Teams will consist of three players each.

 

COW MILKING
10am-3pm

Cole A

Come and milk a cow.  Be in line by 3pm to avoid disappointment as the cows need to go to the milking barn.

 

DRAFT HORSE DEMONSTRATION

2pm-3pm

Cole A Arena

Draft horses in action.  The Draft Horse and Driving Club will demonstrate many uses of the draft animal.

 

GOAT MILKING

12pm-3pm

Cole A

Goat Milking demonstration.  Come try your hand at milking a goat.  Be in line by 3pm to avoid disappointment.

 

HORSE BREEDING DEMONSTRATION

Artificial insemination of horses.

 

LABORATORY ANIMAL DISPLAY

Information about laboratory animal science and weanling rats on display.

Public tours of the USDA inspected facility: see how meat products are made.

 

PAINTED HORSE

Muscle groups on a live horse will be painted to demonstrate anatomy.

 

PETTING ZOO

Children can pet small livestock such as goats, lambs, and calves.

 

RANCH KIDS OLYMPICS

Children can learn roping, paint branding and compete in other events.
