Kat Gallardo, known as “katgrüvs,” riding the new wave of modern fingerstyle guitarists. Her style of playing captures the sound of a full band on the acoustic guitar, implementing techniques such as altered tunings, two-hand tapping, and percussion. A graduate from UC Davis in Mechanical Engineering, she aspires to marry her lifelong passion for music with creative engineering.
Alec Lytle and Them Rounders
Hailing from the North Cal Coastal Mountains, Alec Lytle fuses Folk, Singer Songwriter and Americana, inviting listeners to join a musical journey.
Every person has a story to tell, and a voice to be heard. Our voices are amplified when we are able to tell our stories through the traditions of our ancestors. These dancers train in the ancient art of Bharatanatyam. They are heavily involved in the concept, choreo, and costuming of the story they are sharing today.
Brayell is a multi-instrumentalist, recording artist, and music producer from Southern California in the genres of hip-hop, R&B, and alternative. His song “T’s and Tapestries” pays homage to his laid back, beach town roots and his ever-evolving eclectic style. You can find more of his music here:
Brazilian Tropical Show: Capoeira and Samba Rhythms
Our versatile group will perform the movement and music of Folkloric Brazilian Capoeira and play lively Brazilian drum rhythms for everyone to enjoy. The performance will be led by world renowned Brazilian Master Artist-Mestre Caboclinho.
