April 18, 2020. The day that was supposed to be the 106th UC Davis Picnic Day, until the novel coronavirus upended all of our lives. We’ve all had to adapt to this new reality, and as a result, this pandemic has put a lot into perspective regarding which things we can and cannot change. Read more….


Kicking-off Picnic Day is the Parade where over 70 participant groups walk through the UC Davis campus and into Downtown Davis to celebrate the start of Picnic Day!

Fashion and Design Society present the annual Picnic Day fashion show to showcase the student designers’ garments.

Watch the iconic Doxie Derby event where little doxies will run their hearts out center-stage at the Pavilion looking to win first prize!

Come check out the Bohart Museum of Entomology’s collection and learn more about the seven million specimens of terrestrial and fresh water arthropods they have!
