Picnic Day is the largest student-run event in the nation, with over 70,000 attendees last year and more than 200 events. It’s no surprise that it takes a lot of people to make it happen! Volunteer on Picnic Day
Our team hires lots of volunteers to help out on Picnic Day. Most shifts are a couple hours at various times throughout the day and you get a free T-shirt! Volunteer applications are now available.

Assistant directors join the Picnic Day board and help plan Picnic Day. There are 16 different teams you can join, each with their own responsibilities. The position is an unpaid internship, and you can receive official notation on your transcript. It’s a great way to meet people on campus, gain leadership experience, and have fun! Applications are available on the ASUCD Vacancy website.
Work with the Picnic Day Chair with administrative tasks and projects in order to support the Board of Directors.
